Named by Thande in honour of Shadow Knight, this is the three-person body that sets and judges all FH map contests. From the second Committee onwards, these are elected by poll in the FH subforum.

The first Committee of Shadow consisted of Thande, Othniel and Nekromans.

The second Committee of Shadow consists of Agentdark, Susano and Othniel. They have titles based on the number of votes they each won in the Committee elections: Primarch, Mediarch and Terminarch respectively. The Sicilian received an equal number of votes to Othniel but agreed to step down.
