Ghana is one of the west African countries. It's often recognised as one of the more economically developed countries in that particular region.
Ghana borders Burkina Faso in the north, Togo in the east and Cote d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast) in the west. Its southern border consists of its Atlantic coastline, geographically part of the Gulf of Guinea.
