David himself is rather critical of the timeline these days, saying that it involves a bit too much selective ignoring of the [[alternate history:butterfly effect]] and [[alternate history:wank|wishful thinking]] to pull off the scenario. In short, he doesn't consider it his best or most plausible timeline.
