====== Bavaria (Hitler's Mediterranean Strategy) ======

This [[Bavaria]] was occupied by [[United States of America (Hitler's Mediterranean Strategy)|US]] troops after the capitulation of [[Germany (Hitler's Mediterranean Strategy)|Germany]]. 1948, in the first free election after the [[World War II (Hitler's Mediterranean Strategy)|war]], the Bavarians made Hans Ehard (CVP) minister president. In 1949 Bavaria became a member state of the [[Federal Republic of Germany (Hitler's Mediterranean Strategy)|Federal Republic South Germany]].
