One of [[Thande]]'s [[thande - list of enemies|sworn enemies]], from the ranks of wild fowl. 

[[http://www.alternatehistory.com/forum/threads/official-thande-vs-owls-thread.150123/|Since time immemorial the arch-nemesis of the chemist!]] Who among us fails to remember the terrible Owl-Chemist wars of the 17th century which left whole swathes of Europe covered in feathers and worrying stains of unknown origin?  It was at this time that the chemists adopted their distinctive dress of elasticated pantaloons to prevent the feathery bastards from flying into their underwear and wreaking untold damage on the contents!

Even now tribes of owls gather in the darkness, (no, not the band), in preperation for launching a sneak attack on the chemists in their isolated farmsteads!
