====== Montana ======

Does not exist. This "state" was invented in the late 19th Century by Senator George P. Harringford III.V of New Haven, Connecticut and Sir Archibald Ernest Drax-Ernle-Plunkett-Ffrench-Ffrench of Her Majesty's Foreign and Imperial Office as a fictional buffer region to prevent conflict between the [[offtopic:United States of America]] and the [[offtopic:Dominion of Canada]]. Do not believe anyone who claims to come from, or to have visited, this fictional location. See also [[Offtopic:North and South Dakota]]

To add verisimilitude to the fiction of Montana, at least one county has been designated as part of the "state"- ironically, this further undermines Montana's case for existence as the name "Teton County" is simply too good to be true.

[[offtopic:Thande]] also believes that he visited Helena and Great Falls in 1994, but readily admits that it may have been a dream sequence induced by hypnotists employed by the Federal Government.
