The ban was originally a kick, [[https://www.alternatehistory.com/forum/threads/1/post-9196320|but was upgraded]] after mite brazenly sent CalBear a private message in which he not only tried to justify his post, but expanded on it. He claimed that "the whole thing is a matter of winners rewriting history". CalBear's "Yikes !" reaction to that PM speaks volumes.
