The Ministry of Byzantine Affairs was established on May 4, 2008 by the [[Byzantine Ministry Act]] passed by the [[2007 Parliament|2007 Parliament of AH.com]] and signed by [[ahcom president|President]] [[Midgardmetal|Midgard]].  It was the first ministry established by such means.
