A small country in the Middle East, north of [[Israel]] and west of [[Syria]], two countries which have historically often interfered with it. Has a complicated ethnic history involving the Crusades and today is a mixture of Christian and Muslim communities. Noted in the Bible for its cedars, one of which appears on the modern country's flag.
