====== Ignore Threads ======

Ignore threads are created when a member posts a new thread and then realises that they've completely cocked it up.  The member then edits the thread to remove the content and changes the title to "Ignore" to show that the thread is empty and that other members need not waste any time on it.

In response to this all other members will spend vast amounts of time posting in the "Ignore" thread while totally ignoring real threads that people have spent considerable time and effort on. Some Ignore threads (for instance, the retroactively named [[http://alternatehistory.com/discussion/showthread.php?t=94035|Smiley Flag Thread]]) have been dozens of pages long and have become legendary.
