An early type of [[Variation Threads]]. It originated in a discussion thread about a "White History Month" at a [[Baltimore]] school. As usual for AH.com threads, it did not always stay on topic, but spawned a subdiscussion about the British Empire. Hence, [[Flocculencio]] created a topic where the British Empire could be discussed, titled "British Empire: Views". In no time, this became a fad, and threads demanded to exchange views about other empires. It started with the Brazilian Empire, and then got absurd: The Andorran Empire, teh Rutlandian Empire and the Greco-Polish-Franconian Empire. Only [[Nekromans]] and [[Susano]] screwed up and titled their threads (about the Alternian and the Tamrielic Empire, respectively) "xxx Empire: Discuss".
