In //**[[stories:AH.com The Series]]**//, DMA is theoretically a member of the [[stories:AH.com Ship]]'s security team, but in practice fills a variety of roles. He briefly left the ship to coincide with a period when the real life DMA was ill, but soon returned. His character is also a former first officer of the [[stories:CTT.net Ship]]. 

In //**[[stories:Luaky Commer]]**//, DMA fills in the Hagrid role, and acts in an extremely stereotypical-Australian fashion.
