====== Cote d' Ivoire (Ivory Coast) ======

Cote d' Ivoire is one of the [[offtopic/regions#africa|west African]] countries. It's often recognised as one of the more economically developed countries in that particular region, though it has had periods of economic and political crises in the 1990s and 2000s.

Cote d' Ivoire  borders [[Liberia]] in the southwest, [[Guinea]] in the norhwest, [[Mali]] in the north,  [[Burkina Faso]] in the northeast and [[Ghana]] in the east. Its southern border consists of its Atlantic coastline, geographically part of the Gulf of Guinea.
