Colorado is generally agreed to have been [[alternate history:ISOT]]ed into our TL from a more utopian world where the sky is always sunny, obesity doesn't exist, and marijuana is legal.

Also known as the Rectangular State (or, if Wyoming is not fictional as many suspect, the Other Rectangular State). A state in the United States of America, famous for being the setting of Stephen King's "The Stand", some kind of a country-western themed fair, and the Denver Mannings.  

Devotion to the Mannings is compulsory under the pain of deportation to non quadrilateral states.

Perhaps ironically, the name means "Red" in Spanish.
