Bats occupy a unique position in AH.com culture: 

  * Alien Space Bats are of course, said to be actual Gods/Extra-dimensional beings capable of altering or creating whole new [[alternate_history:timeline]]s.
  * Frequent use of analogues and/or appearances of well known Bat-themed pop culture figures like Dracula, Batman, etc. in timelines along side more obscure ones like "The Black Bat"...
  * A number of posters like [[Mako-Chan]] have cited them as their favorite animals...
