====== The Machine ======

A [[MerryPrankster]]/[[Dave Howery]] episode which was a sequel to [[V IS FOR VENDETTA]].

There's a celebratory mood on the [[AH.com Ship]] as [[Othniel]] finally returns, having captured [[Straha]]. It turns out that Straha was captured when he and [[Mike Collins]] were on a barren Earth without humans, on which was a strange, factory-sized Machine which makes [[luakel]] clones and hurls them in a slingshot through a huge tuning fork, which projects portals into random timelines. This is the source of all the luakel clones throughout the Multiverse.

Collins wants the power of the Machine for himself, but they are interrupted by the arrival of the [[Vendetta]], whose crew's mission is to destroy the Machine. They attempt this via bombardment, but fail, as the Machine can fly and projects a portal, moving itself into a new dimension. Straha gets the coordinates of the new timeline, but Othniel gets the data when he captures Straha. Collins fights several Space Marines and then offers his services to [[TyrannusZero]] to help find the Machine. The psyker Evil [[MrP]] knows Collins wants the Machine for himself, but agrees to help him if Collins will help him gain [[Keira Knightley]] from the AH.commers.

The AH.com Ship is pursued by the //Vendetta// through the asteroid belt, where they hide the ship on Vesta. [[Doctor What]] agrees to shift to the new timeline of the Machine, as the //Vendetta// will go after the Machine rather than the AH.commers. This indeed proves to be the case, but when the AH.commers spot Collins with the //Vendetta//'s landing team, Doctor What realises that Collins wants the Machine for himself. He hails TyrannusZero, but the Imperial captain refuses to believe him and attacks the AH.com Ship. Othniel and [[Leo Caesius]] take control of the Machine and use it to make luakel clones in spacesuits, which it catapults onto the //Vendetta//'s outer hull and the clones start wreaking havoc, damaging systems.

Collins fights Howery and betrays MrP, and reveals to Howery that he was the despotic 'Premiere' of Howery's home timeline (see: [[TO LIVE AND DIE IN SAULT STE. MARIE]]). However, before anything is resolved, a mysterious cloaked figure enters, there's a flash of light, and suddenly 20 minutes is missing from everyone's memories. The AH.commers are back on the AH.com Ship, the //Vendetta// is in another timeline, Straha is back with Collins and [[Molobo]]...and the Machine has shifted to yet another timeline, and begins producing more luakel clones...

The Machine proved a popular concept and went on to reappear in [[MONTANA HOWERY AND THE MANTLE OF N00B]] and was also referenced in [[VALLEY OF THE ROCKPUPPETS]].
