Those [[offtopic:USA|American]] colonists who were against [[secession]] from [[offtopic:The United Kingdom]]. Many fled to [[offtopic:Canada]] after the [[Revolutionary War]].

Currently represented on the board by [[offtopic:Zyzzyva]] as well as [[offtopic:Beedok]], though probably not as "purely".

Origins of the 60th Royal American Rifles, a British regiment which saw distinguished service throughout the Napoleonic Wars, though as they wore on they ended up being topped up with Germans.
