What is your vision of a Central Powers victorious world by TODAY? Give a short description of that world by today. The POD is a late CP victory around 1917 or '18. You don't have to explain how it got that way, unless of course you want to.
Mine is something like this;
The world is basically divided into three spheres of power (there is no "Cold War as there are no ideological differences to fight for, just relatively peaceful coexistence after TTL's WW2 equivalents):
The German Sphere - Composed of the European Union and the Afrikareich (an amalgamation of all German colonial possesions in Sub-Saharan Africa). The European Union has its roots in the "Mitteleruopa-sphere", Germany gained after World War I. Originally thought of a giant, oppressive, German slave pool, it evolved into something quite opposite as progressive German labor laws turned Mitteleuropa into a prosperous, economically healthy region which served to benefit both sides of the bargain, Germany and the Mitteleuropa nations. The 1945 German victory over revanchist Monarchist France, Soviet Russia and Britain (who neither succumbed to a rightist or leftist dictatorship but whose sin was to support the nations that had, in continental Europe, against Germany during WW2), expanded German control to Western Europe, leading the creation of the EU in 1948.
The Afrikariech is about as prosperous as Europe due to the effective colonial policy of the Germans, particularly its superb colonial education system, which as it turned out meant all the difference between the dark, brutal African colonies of the Entente, where the British, French and Portuguese colonizers never cared to educate their subjects, and the bright, prosperous and progressive Africa, Germany has built.
The Ottoman Sphere - Composed of the Middle East and North Africa. It is binded together officially as the Islamic Commonwealth, an international organization of Muslim nations, which is built on the Ottoman Sultan's position as Caliph. All member nations must swear to vest some form of political, spiritual and moral authority over them to the Sultan. The virtual monoply this sphere held over the global oil supply was the main reason, the rest of the world seeking economic independence, began switching to Alternative fuel sources in the 70's and 80's.
Deprived of its most valuable exportable resource, oil, by the 1990's as the world adapted to Alternative fuel sources, and with its chief country, the Ottoman Empire wracked with Zionist and Kurdish insurgencies, it seemed as if the Islamic Commonwealth would collapse but through a widespread strategy of shifting its economies from oil-based ones to ones that centered on a wider variety of economic strengths like industry, technology and other natural resources, the Islamic Commonwealth pulled through the 90's and into the new millennium with greater prospects ahead of it.
The "Pacific Sphere" - composed of East Asia and America, it was founded as the Pacific Economic Partnership Organization after the American victory over Imperial Japan in the Pacific War and was originally thought of as the "American sphere". But the seeds that America's Marshall Plan planted in East Asia gave rise to the "tiger economies" of China, Japan, Korea, the Philippines, Malaysia, etc. which began to rival that of America's. A truly diverse sphere of economic powers was created. A significant third power in this sphere is Australia which became a republic in the 20's due to disenfranchisement with belonging to the British Empire.
Another thing, Space technology is way more advanced ITTL than ITOL due to the lack of earthly distractions, the powers focused more money, time and energy into their Space Programs. ITTL, by today, there are lunar bases and a large selection of major space stations, each belonging to one of the major powers.
