They escape with their lives, only to find Bowser Koopa, Tatanga, Kamek and some Koopa Troopas. Captain Toad, Elvin Gaard and Luigi are pushed by Wario and Waluigi into a hole while Mario, Donkey Kong, Peach and Goombario fight Bowser Koopa.
Yoshi appears, who returned after eating many Goombas. But Tatanga is frustrated with Wario and Waluigi because Wario and Waluigi had not killed Luigi when he ordered them to do so, so Tatanga arrests Wario and Waluigi, just as Bowser Koopa arrests Luigi. Bowser Koopa is angry with the Koopalings and says they are grounded and it will be decided that Koopalings will be their successor when they grow up and participate in a deadly battle and one Koopaling will be the surviver. But in this moment, Bowser feeling a stranger thing and Bowser Jr. finally born. Bowser Koopa huges Bowser Jr., and Bowser Jr said “papa!”.
Meanwhile, Mario, Captain Toad, Toadette, Elvin Gaard, Yoshi and Toad are in the church trying to find the pipe that had taken Mario, Luigi, Wario and Waluigi to the "Other World".
They find the green barrel room and enter the barrel, returning to the "Other World".
Mario and his friends are lost, but they find Wario and Waluigi, who claim to know where Bowser Koopa's castle is thanks to a map Wario has.
Wario and Waluigi help Mario, Toadette, Toad, Yoshi, Captain Toad, Diddy Kong and Elvin Gaard find the true castle of Bowser Koopa. When they find the castle, Mario saves Luigi, using a Fire Flower and a magical yellow cloak (same power upp as the Super Mario World (1991) game), knocking out Kammy Koopa and burning two Koopa Troopas that were grabbing Luigi. Since there are only three armor sets to wear, Mario, Luigi and Elvin Gaard take them, Toadette makes his own plan, and Mario, Luigi and Elvin Gaard sneak into the royal castle, while Captain Toad and Toadette develop a plan to heal Donkey. Kong, Princess Daisy Sarasa and Princess Marry.
While Daisy masquerades as a salon singer, Mario, Luigi and Elvin Gaard accidentally end up on stage during Tatanga's Bowser bachelor party. Where a totally transformed and brainwashed Marry, Daisy and Donkey Kong are present. Mario, Luigi and Elvin Gaard are invited to play a football game. They are exposed, however, when Toadette accidentally uses Mushroom Powder on Marry, Daisy and Donkey Kong too early, restoring them to normal. All are captured except Captain Toad, Toadette and Toad, who escaped when Toadette made his mistake. But Pesch says she's willing to marry Bowser if he spares the life of the man she really loves, Mario, along with everyone else. Bowser accepts this deal, but on the condition that Mario, Luigi, the Toads, Donkey Kong, Elvin Gaard, Wario, Waluigi, and Yoshi remain in the dungeon until after marriage and are then banished from the kingdom.
In the dungeon, the brothers have a sincere heart, where Luigi explains that he wanted to leave Mario, but before his father died, he and his mother made him promise to take care of Mario, because they feared that he would only care about his dreams, and he would be bitter and hateful if things didn't go your way, and Luigi thinks he failed that task. He gives Mario back his father's picture. In the morning, Captain Toad, Toadette and Diddy Kong rescue them by poisoning the dungeon keeper with a Poison Mushroom, and Mario apologizes for involuntarily pointing them at Bowser and for treating Luigi long ago and that the real evil brother is not Luigi, but Mario himself, as they escape, they accidentally pull a lever that opens a trapdoor, making them appear Thwomps (The same design of The games, but withouth life and withouth face), and Mario and his friends manage to escape the Thwomps.
Bowser and Tatanga start marriage with Marry and Daisy, but our heroes don't frustrate him before Marry and Daisy say "yes" to the villains, unknowingly giving Bowser and Tatanga the powers of the Invincible Crowns (both believe the power is granted when husband and wife are declared).
When Mario and Luigi arrive, Marry hugs Mario and Daisy hugs Luigi. Mario starts talking, but Marry asks to continue being called Peach. Peach tells Mario that everything about her deciding to marry Bowser was a trick, and that she believed Mario would come back and defeat Bowser when the guard was down. As she explains this, Bowser and Tatanga put the crown of invincibility on their heads and become invincible. Mario fights Bowser and Luigi contends Tatanga, Mario loses his Super Power. Peach gives him a Fire Flower from his bouquet and he becomes Fire Mario once again. The fight between Mario and Bowser spreads in a chamber with a precarious bridge over a lava sea.
Meanwhile, after saving Goombario before he was killed by a Thwomp, in the great hall, Luigi, Wario, Waluigi, Daisy, Peach, Donkey Kong, Elvin Gaard, Diddy Kong, Captain Toad, Toadette, Toad and Yoshi use Fire Flowers to combat the Koopalings, Koopa Troopas, Lakitu, Koopas and Tatanga. The battle soon also spreads into the lava chamber, during which Tatanga falls into the lava and is incinerated. On the bridge, Mario loses his firepower and is knocked down, but can safely grab a rope. Remembering the Rocky Balboa scene that says life is all about having the willingness to catch up, get on with it, and try to beat it.
Mario urges Bowser, who is furious to see that Tatanga has died, to get bigger and bigger. The Bowser Troops think it's a trap to make him smash the platform he's on, so he floats in the air to correct that, but Mario's real plan was to make the crown unable to fit anymore in his head. The crown falls and Bowser Koopa returns to his normal size and falls into the lava, apparently. Mario, skilled at Le Parkour, jumps to the nearest half where the other heroes are. He rises and grabs Peach's hand, but before she can pull him, Bowser, with his son named Bowser Jr.,
reappears, inside a ship, and catching Mario in the legs and tries to throw him in the lava. Peach hits Bowser with Daisy's necklace, causing him to lose control, pulls Mario and Peach with him to the lava. Yoshi suddenly reappears, wings and flying, saving Mario, Peach and Bowser Jr. before they fall into the lava. Bowser Koopa falls into the lava and dies.
Yoshi leaves Bowser Jr. at the castle and Bowser Jr. is adopted by Kammy Koopa and the Koopalings.
Kammy Koopa and the Koopalings appear together with Bowser Jr. mounted on a chain of fire with Lakitu and some Koopa Troopas, Koopas and Goombas promise revenge before they disappear.
After the death of Bowser Koopa and Tatanga, all dwarfs wearing mushroom hats, popularly known as Toades, come back to life, no longer stones and clay. Captain Toad, Toadette and Toad are happy to see that they are not the only Toads in the universe.
All celebrate the victory of Mario, Luigi, Wario, Waluigi, Goombario, Peach, Captain Toad and Daisy. Even Kamek MagiKoopa and the Koopa Troopas, Koopas and Goombas who didn't go with Kammy Koopa celebrate Mario's victory because they were treated as slaves by Bowser Koopa and Tatanga and because Bowser Koopa spoke badly of them behind their backs. Toadsworth reappears, having feigned his death. He uses his wand to rescind Ferrell Toadstool and Larry Sarasa. Returning to their kingdom, King Larry and King Ferrell announce that Peter Toadstool (Peach's brother) and Greg Sarasa (Daisy's brother) have returned to life. Mario, Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong, Luigi, Peach, Daisy, Elvin Gaard Yoshi, Captain Toad, Toadette and Toad receive small medals, which disgusts Mario - he was expecting infinite riches. Toadsworth explains that Mario is infinitely richer than the others in his heart, kindness and infinite humility, since Mario has stopped being a grumpy, selfish guy. Wario and Waluigi are annoyed that they haven't gotten a medal, which makes Mario happy after two cruel people get screwed.
Toad thinks he should join the army, making Toadette feel proud. Captain Toad says he will continue to be explorer, Toadette says he will be a helper of Captain Toad. Yoshi says he is proud of Mario and Luigi.
A few days later, Peach is happy to hear that his mother is still alive, having hidden in Sarasaland. Daisy congratulates Peach on the news. The witch comes back and kisses Mario and, as she said, she turns into a beautiful witch with blond hair and blue dress. The girl's name is Rosalina, and she thanks Mario for helping her stop being an ugly witch. Mario is mesmerized, but Peach pushes her away, making it clear that she wants to be Mario's girlfriend. Luigi and Daisy also talk about dating. Daisy accepts to be Luigi's girlfriend.
Mario agrees to be Peach's boyfriend.
A month later, Luigi and Daisy marry and Luigi becomes king of Sarasaland and Daisy becomes queen of Sarasaland.
Mario tells Peach that he won't be able to date her because he must take care of Pauline. Peach is sad, but he understands Mario's side.
Luigi says he would like to see his mother, but now that he is the king of Sarasaland, he will not be able to stay with Mario.
Mario is sad, but wishes Luigi luck and that Luigi is a great king.
Toadsworth, Luigi, Daisy, Peach and everyone of Sarasaland and Mushroom Kingdom say goodbye to Mario, Wario and Waluigi.
Mario, Wario and Waluigi leave "Other World" and return to "Real World".
Mario, with all the coins he found on his way home, pays Wario and Waluigi after the adventure and earns a huge salary from the Wario mafia as a thank you for killing Tatanga and Bowser Koopa. With the dollar he earned, Mario paid for Pauline's treatments, Pauline was healed and made a musical band in New York called the Donk Band.
One month later, Mario and Pauline are home and a doorbell rings, Mario opens the door and Peach enters her house, saying she can stay with Mario, as she told Ferrell Toadstool and Toadsworth that she didn't want to be queen. So Peter Toadstool, Peach's brother, is the new king of Mushroom Kingdom now.
Luigi, Daisy, Donkey Kong, Goombario, Diddy Kong, Captain Toad, Toadette and Yoshi arrive at Mario's house to visit Mario and why Luigi wanted to see Pauline, because she is his mother, which is obvious.
Mario, Peach, Luigi, Daisy, Goombario, Captain Toad, Toadette, Toad, Yoshi, Wario, Waluigi, Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong, Pauline return to "Other World" and Pauline performs a show in which she sings a song called Jump Up Super star! (same song as the game Super Mario Odyssey (2017)).
The show is great and in the middle of the show, Mario meets Rosalina, sitting on the floor, and talks to her and takes her to see the end of the show, dancing with her, Peach. In the show Toadsworth dances Michael Jackson
After this, the story ends, a Rosalina in the outer space with stars beside her appears and closes the book "Super Mario Brothers: The Beginning of the Journey".
Rosalina flies with her magic wand and cuts to Pauline by tapping her last line.
After the credits, appears Doctor Elvin Gaard makes a time machine and Mario and Luigi go to the future, and He see Pokemons. After that, Mario and Luigi back to the time machine and they back to your time before The time travell. Doctor Elvin Gaard asks about what things have in the future and Mario describe the Pokemons as stranger animals, but cute and with super powers. Doctor Elvin Gaard asks who is a pokemon and this scene end.
After this scene, appears Bowser Koopa and Tatanga back to life and They promise revenge. They talk with Bowser Jr., Koopalings and Kammy Koopa one think: they will make a revenge against Mario, Peach and Daisy.
And in this same scene, Bowser Koopa uses a pink crown made by Kammy Koopa and he is transformed in Bowsette. Koopalings is laughing and Bowsette speaks “shut up!” and Bowsette takes off the pink crown again to be Bowser Koopa, and reveals that he and Tatanga survived the lava because they are possessed by two Boos now.
In The third post-credits scene Jumpman is alive and He promises to himself to find your sons: Mario and Luigi.

Aesthetic:
Mushroom Kingdom (similar to the idea of moviebob): Big and organic. As much visual reference to the games as possible in terms of the look and feel of the Mushroom Kingdom, but not leaning on intentional artifice – think Mushroom Kingdom in this movie as a colorfull fantasy world just like Narnia (from The Chronicles of Narnia Movie Trilogy (2005-2010)), Oz (from the movie Wizard of Oz (1939)) and Wonderland (from Alice in Wonderland (1951)). A place with extra-active plant-life, given the presence of the Mushroom People themselves: Along with the expected Piranha Plants and Goombas, Koopas and Koopa Troopas and so forth, think grabby-vines, moving flowers, etc. Mushroom Kingdom in this movie is “a fantasy self-sustaining, a super-colorful/cuddly cross between fairytale medieval Europe, fuedal Japan, Narnia, Oz and Wonderland” Even “familair” looking flora and fauna look just a little bit more cuddly/friendly (big eyes, round proportions) than they would on Earth.
The “floaty brick platforms” of the games in this movie maybe think more on the lines of ancient, crumbling instrastructure – think the ruins of the elevated Roman Aquaducts made by the Romans throughout their Republic and later the Roman Empire (imagine a fight/chase sequence in a canyon criss-crossed with stone bridges and stairs, Mario/Luigi leaping between them and smashing up through the stone from below to knock out enemies!) Should make some practical geographic sense, i.e. no lava-world right next door to the frozen-tundra for now reason.

Bowser’s Domain (Same idea of moviebob): The Koopas live in a “valley” created by constant volcanic activity, which they’ve harnessed (crudely) into a power-source. It’s an “industrial” Kingdom and much more darker than Mushroom Kingdom.
Sarasaland: A big and organic kingdom, with extra-active vegetal life. Imagine Sarasaland as a mix of Mours (from Maleficant (2014) and Maleficant: Mistress of Evil (2019)) with Wonderland (from the movie Alice in Wonderland (2010)), Egypt, Easter Island, China and Bermuda Island
Yoshi Island: A big and organic island,with extra-active vegetal life and Dinossaurs in Gert places of this island

It can be severe and, when irritated, very severe. But she shows loyalty, compassion, and motherly affection when you need to do something stupid. Wise beyond her years, she knows all about the kingdom, such as the back of her hand, and can guide you when needed. Wise beyond his years, his intellect and strength are as attractive to men as his beauty. But most of the time she is oblivious to what men think of her. Skilled in Karate and Kung Fu, Peach's design in this movie is as similar as possible to the design of the games, clothes and hairstyles, relying on the mashup of Disney Princess grandeur and rococo opulence.
04º Iain Armitage: Toad (live-action character): Costume/Personality: Wearing a mushroom-shaped red cap, blue elf / elf outfit, and brown elf / elf shoes, Toad is an 11-year-old who behaves just like Luigi in questions of personality, but much more childlike than Luigi.
05º Peter Dinklage: Captain Toad (live-action character): Costume/Personality: Captain Toad is a serious explorer and teacher of plant life and native science. A famous feature of his personality is that he is very nervous and grumpy, but loves his wife Toadette and his son named Toad. Captain Toad wears explorer clothes, lantern, binoculars and a neckerchief and always has a mushroom-shaped red cap on his head.

08º Amy Adams: Princess Daisy Sarasa (live-action character) Costume/Personality: Daisy is a red-haired woman with red hair, always wearing a necklace around her neck and always wearing a dress similar to Cinderella's dress, only yellow. With orange parts. Daisy is a cheerful and outgoing girl, but very mature, who loves flowers and Hollow Earth theory. Daisy likes to skate and extreme sports.
09º Danny McBride: Wario Wario (live-action character): Costume/Personality: Wario is a cruel and greedy man who is sometimes a hero and sometimes a villain. Wario, always with a mustache, likes to wear yellow plaid clothes, purple denim overalls and a yellow cap.
10° Sacha Baron Cohen: Waluigi Wario (live-action character) Costume/Personality: Waluigi is a goofy man and He is very cruel, sometimes a hero and sometimes a villain. Waluigi is more childness than Wario and uses has a black hair with gel, wears a purple outfit with red and blue stripes, blue jeans overalls, black shoes with leggings and has a large chin. Waluigi, always with a peculiar mustache on his face and a purple cap on his head, walks with his head down (to his shoulders) and moves his arms from side to side with his fists clenched, as does Robbie Rotten Tv series Lazy Town (2004-2014))
11º Juno Temple: Rosalina (live-action character): Costume/Personality: Rosalina's design in this movie is as similar as possible to Rosalina's design of the games, clothes and hairstyles, relying on the mashup of Disney Princess grandeur and rococo opulence. She is similar to Peach, but Rosalina is more serious than Peach. Rosalina uses blue dress and She talks with stars, living in the galaxy.
12º Morena Baccarin: Pauline (live-action character): Costume/Personality: She is the mother of Mario and Luigi and and she has cancer. In questions of personality, Pauline is strong, cool, calculating, and has a similar personality to the Ant Wasp and the Wasp (2018). Your design is the same of Super Mario Odyssey (2017).
13º Ron Perlman: Bowser Koopa (live-action character): Costume/Personality: Bowser Koopa is a human-sized reptile being that resembles a giant tortoise-dragon, pumped-up body, green giant tortoise shell on the back with thorns and with two horns on the head. Bowser Koopa is big, large, frightening, intimidating, manipulative, skilled in black and voodoo magic, calculating, controlling, tyrannical and evil-minded, and far more tyrannical than Tatanga.
14º Tom Kenny: Yoshi (CGI (computer generated images) character voiced by Tom Kenny): Costume/Personalitty: Your design is the same of the game Super Mario World (1990), but with details to make it a little more realistic, just as Pikachu and the other Pokemon were made in the movie Detective Pikachu (2019), and with a nose much bigger than the cartoon Yoshi and his skin is stone in this movie. Yoshi is a friendly dinossaur and cute and he treats Mario and Luigi as if they were his children.

17º Frank Welker: Koopas Troopas (CGI characters voiced by Frank Welker): Costume/Personality (same idea of moviebob): Normal four-legged turtles (like real-world turtles) with yellow skin and snapped jaws - resemble overly muscled turtles, about the size of a small car, able to fully withdraw from the shell when they are attacked. Some Koopa Troppas have wings in place of legs Flying variation with leg wings. Koopas Troopas are used as beasts of burden by Koopas.
18º Javier Botet: King Boo and all other Boos (made in Motion Capture): Costume/Personality: King Boo and the other Boos don’t have the classic design of the games. In this movie they are demons with diferent aparences, mostly with deformed faces, red skin, black eyes, muscular body and horns on the head, similar to demons like Krampus, Satan and Lucifer. But some may have the appearance of a human with deformed skin similar to Regan (character in The Exorcist (1973), and may possess people or frighten them until they are mad and disturbed. They can make demonic pacts with strange beings, making those making a pact with King Boo or any other Boo can gain immortality, explaining why Bowser Koopa and Tatanga have so much power and Koopas, Troopas and Goombas slaves and a possibility of being immortal (an explanation of why Bowser Koopa always comes back even though Mario and Luigi kill him)
19º Steve Carrell: Goombas (Stop-Motion characters made with Clay and voiced by Steve Carrell): Costume/Personality (similar to the idea of moviebob): Brown clay dolls that look physically like evil mushrooms with feet and faces, always fast and choppy. The Goombas have the superpower of super speed and work as military for Bowser Koopa and Tatanga as if they were "pawns", usually on the first wave of any fight.
20° Michael Keaton: Kamek MagiKoopa (live-action character): Costume/Personality: Kamek MagiKoopa is an older-looking koopa, always wearing wizard blue clothes, a pointy Blue hat, mas a magic wand for witchcraft. He is very nervous and He hates to job to Bowser Koopa.
21º Helena Bonham Carter: Kammy Koopa (live-action character): Costume/Personality: Kammy Koopa is an older-looking koopa, always wearing pink clothes, a pointy pink hat, and a magic wand for witchcraft. Kammy Koopa is always sarcastic, in contrast to Kamek MagiKoopa, and true to Bowser Koopa.
22º Bob Balaban: Lakitu (live-action/CGI hybrid character): Costume/Personalitty: Lakitu is a Koopa with glasses. He works as a bounty hunter and lives in a cloud, because he likes to keep his hands clean. 23º Terry Crews: Donkey Kong (CGI character voiced by Terry Crews): Costume/Personalitty: Your design is basically a giant King Kong (from Kong Kong (2005)) brown and with the same hair that Donkey Kong has in the games and a red tie with the letters "DK" written in yellow font. He values his family and friends, has a friend named Diddy Kong, and hates those who do not value his friends and family. Your super power is brutal super strength. He loves sport and He is a comic character in this movie.
24º Chosen Jacobs: Diddy Kong (voice) (CGI character voiced by Chosen Jacobs): Costume/Personalitty: A monkey with red cap and red cloth with yellow stars. Diddy Kong has been very serious since Bowser Koopa and Tatanga dominated the Sarasaland and Mushroom Kingdom realms, with Donkey Kong being his only friend to entertain him.

Yoshi uses his giant tongue that devours all Goombas (except Goombario) and Koopas. Mario takes Toadsworth's staff and tries to steal a coin from him, but a Boo steals it when he tries to get out. After the death of Bowser Koopa and Tatanga, all dwarfs wearing mushroom hats, popularly known as Toades, come back to life, no longer stones and clay. Captain Toad, Toadette and Toad are happy to see that they are not the only Toads in the universe.

Even Kamek MagiKoopa and the Koopa Troopas, Koopas and Goombas who didn't go with Kammy Koopa celebrate Mario's victory because they were treated as slaves by Bowser Koopa and Tatanga and because Bowser Koopa spoke badly of them behind their backs. Toadsworth reappears, having feigned his death. He uses his wand to rescind Ferrell Toadstool and Larry Sarasa. Returning to their kingdom, King Larry and King Ferrell announce that Peter Toadstool (Peach's brother) and Greg Sarasa (Daisy's brother) have returned to life. Mario, Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong, Luigi, Peach, Daisy, Elvin Gaard Yoshi, Captain Toad, Toadette and Toad receive small medals, which disgusts Mario - he was expecting infinite riches. Toadsworth explains that Mario is infinitely richer than the others in his heart, kindness and infinite humility, since Mario has stopped being a grumpy, selfish guy. Wario and Waluigi are annoyed that they haven't gotten a medal, which makes Mario happy after two cruel people get screwed.
Toad thinks he should join the army, making Toadette feel proud. Captain Toad says he will continue to be explorer, Toadette says he will be a helper of Captain Toad. Yoshi says he is proud of Mario and Luigi.
A few days later, Peach is happy to hear that his mother is still alive, having hidden in Sarasaland. Daisy congratulates Peach on the news. The witch comes back and kisses Mario and, as she said, she turns into a beautiful witch with blond hair and blue dress. The girl's name is Rosalina, and she thanks Mario for helping her stop being an ugly witch. Mario is mesmerized, but Peach pushes her away, making it clear that she wants to be Mario's girlfriend. Luigi and Daisy also talk about dating. Daisy accepts to be Luigi's girlfriend.
Mario agrees to be Peach's boyfriend.
A month later, Luigi and Daisy marry and Luigi becomes king of Sarasaland and Daisy becomes queen of Sarasaland.
Mario tells Peach that he won't be able to date her because he must take care of Pauline. Peach is sad, but he understands Mario's side.
Luigi says he would like to see his mother, but now that he is the king of Sarasaland, he will not be able to stay with Mario.
Mario is sad, but wishes Luigi luck and that Luigi is a great king.
Toadsworth, Luigi, Daisy, Peach and everyone of Sarasaland and Mushroom Kingdom say goodbye to Mario, Wario and Waluigi.
Mario, Wario and Waluigi leave "Other World" and return to "Real World".
Mario, with all the coins he found on his way home, pays Wario and Waluigi after the adventure and earns a huge salary from the Wario mafia as a thank you for killing Tatanga and Bowser Koopa. With the dollar he earned, Mario paid for Pauline's treatments, Pauline was healed and made a musical band in New York called the Donk Band.
One month later, Mario and Pauline are home and a doorbell rings, Mario opens the door and Peach enters her house, saying she can stay with Mario, as she told Ferrell Toadstool and Toadsworth that she didn't want to be queen. So Peter Toadstool, Peach's brother, is the new king of Mushroom Kingdom now.
Luigi, Daisy, Donkey Kong, Goombario, Diddy Kong, Captain Toad, Toadette and Yoshi arrive at Mario's house to visit Mario and why Luigi wanted to see Pauline, because she is his mother, which is obvious.
Mario, Peach, Luigi, Daisy, Goombario, Captain Toad, Toadette, Toad, Yoshi, Wario, Waluigi, Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong, Pauline return to "Other World" and Pauline performs a show in which she sings a song called Jump Up Super star! (same song as the game Super Mario Odyssey (2017)).
The show is great and in the middle of the show, Mario meets Rosalina, sitting on the floor, and talks to her and takes her to see the end of the show, dancing with her, Peach. In the show Toadsworth dances Michael Jackson
After this, the story ends, a Rosalina in the outer space with stars beside her appears and closes the book "Super Mario Brothers: The Beginning of the Journey".
Rosalina flies with her magic wand and cuts to Pauline by tapping her last line.
After the credits, appears Doctor Elvin Gaard makes a time machine and Mario and Luigi go to the future, and He see Pokemons. After that, Mario and Luigi back to the time machine and they back to your time before The time travell. Doctor Elvin Gaard asks about what things have in the future and Mario describe the Pokemons as stranger animals, but cute and with super powers. Doctor Elvin Gaard asks who is a pokemon and this scene end.
After this scene, appears Bowser Koopa and Tatanga back to life and They promise revenge. They talk with Bowser Jr., Koopalings and Kammy Koopa one think: they will make a revenge against Mario, Peach and Daisy.
And in this same scene, Bowser Koopa uses a pink crown made by Kammy Koopa and he is transformed in Bowsette. Koopalings is laughing and Bowsette speaks “shut up!” and Bowsette takes off the pink crown again to be Bowser Koopa, and reveals that he and Tatanga survived the lava because they are possessed by two Boos now.
In The third post-credits scene Jumpman is alive and He promises to himself to find your sons: Mario and Luigi.

Aesthetic:
Mushroom Kingdom (similar to the idea of moviebob): Big and organic. As much visual reference to the games as possible in terms of the look and feel of the Mushroom Kingdom, but not leaning on intentional artifice – think Mushroom Kingdom in this movie as a colorfull fantasy world just like Narnia (from The Chronicles of Narnia Movie Trilogy (2005-2010)), Oz (from the movie Wizard of Oz (1939)) and Wonderland (from Alice in Wonderland (1951)). A place with extra-active plant-life, given the presence of the Mushroom People themselves: Along with the expected Piranha Plants and Goombas, Koopas and Koopa Troopas and so forth, think grabby-vines, moving flowers, etc. Mushroom Kingdom in this movie is “a fantasy self-sustaining, a super-colorful/cuddly cross between fairytale medieval Europe, fuedal Japan, Narnia, Oz and Wonderland” Even “familair” looking flora and fauna look just a little bit more cuddly/friendly (big eyes, round proportions) than they would on Earth.
The “floaty brick platforms” of the games in this movie maybe think more on the lines of ancient, crumbling instrastructure – think the ruins of the elevated Roman Aquaducts made by the Romans throughout their Republic and later the Roman Empire (imagine a fight/chase sequence in a canyon criss-crossed with stone bridges and stairs, Mario/Luigi leaping between them and smashing up through the stone from below to knock out enemies!) Should make some practical geographic sense, i.e. no lava-world right next door to the frozen-tundra for now reason.

Bowser’s Domain (Same idea of moviebob): The Koopas live in a “valley” created by constant volcanic activity, which they’ve harnessed (crudely) into a power-source. It’s an “industrial” Kingdom and much more darker than Mushroom Kingdom.
Sarasaland: A big and organic kingdom, with extra-active vegetal life. Imagine Sarasaland as a mix of Mours (from Maleficant (2014) and Maleficant: Mistress of Evil (2019)) with Wonderland (from the movie Alice in Wonderland (2010)), Egypt, Easter Island, China and Bermuda Island

Production:
After the failure of the 1993 movie, it seemed that Nintendo would not allow movies based on their properties. But following a hacker attack against Sony in 2014, it was revealed that Spider-Man would be in Captain America: Civil War (2016), and it was revealed that Nintendo was in talks with Sony Pictures Animation (a Sony subsidiary dedicated to making children's films, such as Hotel Transylvania (2012), Spider-Man into the Spiderverse (2018) and The Smurfs (2011)), to make an animated Mario movie that would be produced by Avi Arad and directed by Gennedy Tartakovski. But Genndy Tartakovsky abandoned the project to work on Popeye (2016).
After Popeye (2016) was canceled, Sony Pictures Animation in 2015 bought the production rights for Emoji. Consequently, Sony Pictures Animation began to have a greater focus on producing The Emoji Movie (2017), Smurfs: The Lost Village (2017) and The Live-Action/CGI hybrid Sonic The Hedgehog Movie (which would be released in 2019 and would show Tom The Policeman (who would be briefed by Chris Pratt) trying to prevent Sonic The Hedgehog (who would be voiced by Tom Holland) from being kidnapped by the United States government). Meanwhile, Genndy Tartakovsky was directing Hotel Transylvania 3 (2018). And as Sony Pictures Animation thought The Emoji Movie (2017) would be more successful than a Mario movie, so, consequently, Nintendo broke its partnership with Avi Arad because Nintendo thought Sony's plan to give a greater focus on a film about Emojis than on a film about the greatest plumber in the gaming world. Then, the Mario movie that would be made by Sony Pictures Animation was canceled.
So it looked like production had been shelved. But Nintendo decided to partner with Disney to make a Mario movie.
Previously, the film would have been a CGI animation movie, just like Trolls (2016). Writing:

Parker in 1991 from the infamous 1993 movie. Art Direction and Production Design:

Make Up Department
The makeup department was handled by the same film makeup department team as Guillermo Del Toro, such as Hellboy (2004), making Bowser Koopa and the Koopas look great.
