You Know The Vocal Drill: A Collaborative Timeline

Well, I'm going to Construct a Timeline by everyone in this board, The Timeline will start after the conclusion of World War II, so here are a few events to start us off

September 18, 1943: Gussie Neil Davis created the first Song & Dance Routine for the Kilgore Rangerettes, that turned out to be a success

September 1, 1947: Tyler Junior College President, Dr. Harry E. Jenkins asked Mildred Stringer, the wife of Tyler banker J. Harold Stringer and founder of the Tyler High School Blue Brigade, created a Peps quad to be called the Tyler Junior College Apache Belles

September 27, 1947: The Tyler Junior College Apache Bells performed for the first time at a Tyler JC Football Game.

July 16, 1950: The Development of Vocal Dance & Drill Teams made an increase as more High Schools have started their own or converted to allowed Dance & Drill Team Members to sing

October 7, 1958: The Los Angeles City Council approves the Chavez Ravine site for Dodger Stadium by a vote of 10 to 4. It would not be until 1962 that a New York team will again represent the National League.

October 8, 1958: Brooklyn Dodgers owner Walter O'Malley announces that the Dodgers will be moving to Los Angeles for the 1958 season.

June 2, 1980: The Universal Drill Association is founded (1)

July 18, 1998: In Baseball, The Seattle Mariners host "Turn Ahead the Clock Night" as they take on the Kansas City Royals as the Kingdome becomes the Biodome and with Drill Team Music being played in the Dome sung by Various Drill Teams in the State of Washington in the end the Mariners win 8-5, with that success when the won Best Promotion of the Year in MLB's Fall Business Meetings it turn out to be a success and is still going on today.

June 26, 1999: Following the Success of the Mariners-Royals TATC from Last Year, 20 More MLB Teams opened their First Annual Turn Ahead The Clock Night to see what uniforms we're looked like in the year 2021, along with music by Drill Teams from the Area's MLB Teams, The First Game being played is the Oakland Athletics playing against the Anaheim Angels at Edison International Field in Anaheim, The Angels win 5-4.

March 18, 2012: After watching the National Drill Team Championships on ESPNU, a viewer in Oakland who is an A's Fan said "Well watching the Opening Number with a Medley of Songs from the Day sung by the girls came in first after that it was the Carlsbad Lancerettes (2) singing When U Think About Me with Camille Posard who is on Vocals because Posard also spoke in a Pre-Performance in the competition, as a result i'm going to book it for Turn Ahead The Clock Night sometime in the Summer."

June 16, 2012: The Oakland Athletics open their First Turn Ahead The Clock Summer of the Season taking on the San Diego Padres with the First Inning Taking place Camille Posard's Rendition of When U Think About Me (from 2012 National Drill Team Championships: Small Varsity Hip-Hop CD representing the Carlsbad Lancerettes) was played in the Overstock.com Coliseum in the 1st Inning as the Padres step up to the Plate, In the end the Padres lose to Oakland 6-4.

September 29, 1986: With the $25,000 Pyramid moved back to ABC giving Dick Clark to keep his contract, Press Your Luck went back to the 10:00 AM Slot before Card Sharks and The Price is Right

September 7, 1987: After 3 Seasons on KGW in Portland, On The Spot! (1) debuted Nationally on NBC Daytime taped at the KGW Studios in Portland hosted by Larry Blackmar at 11:30 AM ET/10:30 AM CT after Wheel of Fortune hosted by Pat Sajak, but with the rule changes instead of playing for points their playing for cash and in the Flash Round the $5K Giveaway Space is now been sponsored by a different company and it changes from week to week

September 12, 1988: Truth or Consequences left Syndication for FOX with Larry Anderson back for Season 2, in addition Murray Langston returned as part of a New Comedy Team by adding David Alan Grier, Damon Wayans, Jim Carrey and others, That turned out to be successful as FOX announced to spinoff that show for a new Sketch Comedy Series called In Living Color.

September 11, 1989: On The Spot! opened it's 5th Season as they moved to a new studio at NBC Studio 3 in Burbank which is home to the Johnny Carson Show, as Larry Blackmar is back for his 5th season but Portland DJ Michael Bailey will not announce instead former Wheel of Fortune Announcer M.G. Kelly took over, The lineup for NBC Daytime during the 1989-1990 TV Season (Hosts in Parenthesis)

11:00 AM: On The Spot (Larry Blackmar)

August 27, 1992: After she passed her crown to Jamie Sollinger (from Iowa) as the new Miss Teen USA, Janel Bishop goes solo as she started a Music Career to concentrate on her hip hop career.

February 5, 1997: The Miss USA Pageant is televised from Shreveport, Louisiana as 51 Outstanding Young Woman sang and dance the opening number (3) to "This is Your Night" (originally by Amber), in the end Brook Lee representing Hawaii won it in addition Janel Bishop performed a Musical Number with Ali Landry and the 51 Girls singing Background Vocals to "The Best Things in Life Are Free" (orig. by Luther Vandross & Janet Jackson)

(2) = Sale of the Century continued past March 31, 1989 as it did in real life
(3) = All Miss Universe Organization Pageants had Continue to allow pageants to sing during the opening numbers past 1996.
