So I saw Yesterday... Well yesterday.

It was an okay film, but there were just some things that I felt could've been explored more.

Both those words apply to it, but to say that it is a RomCom would miss the point.

I'm mixed about the film, I mean I like some of the ideas, but some of the ways the ideas were executed didn't work.

I really enjoyed it and took it for what it was but I also agree with the above. I thought they went a little too far with the stuff that doesnt exist in that universe.

The no Harry Potter reference at the end was one too many for me, like they're beating us over the head with the premise. I did enjoy the reveal behind why the couple with the yellow submarine was following him around. It was set up in the previews and and the movie that it was someone who would expose the fraud, but it was just a couple who were in the same position as him. Great film for what it was imho.
