Ximenez England

Navarrese England
In 1016, Sancho III the Great of Navarre had already united Christian Spain in the mean time Robert of Normandy seeks a alliance with Navarre and Sancho of Navarre secures Gascony and helps the battle of hastings which is a Normano-Navarrese victory but William marries his daughter Cecilia to Garcia Sanchez there were many claimants to the Navarrese throne after William dies but it was Garcia Sanchez that was very strong in his claims because he has Gascony and Navarre, he uses his wealth to asurp the throne from the house of Normandy and thus Normandy and England become under the house of Ximenez.

Kasumigenx, as I mentioned before in another thread you might want to consider that laws of succession existed, even in this era, to provide a stable succession. It was only really when one King died without a clear (or strong, in a volatile political landscape) era that those with a somewhat weaker claim could move in for the crown, and even then it required them to have a genuinely good reason for claiming it. William is a strong King and has a secured line of inheritance. There's really not much way that Garcia could simply throw money at England and usurp the throne just like that.

And simple conquest would be difficult - doing it without at least some semblance of legitimacy even more so.

Maybe a (several generations later) descendant of Garcia could claim it later as the last descendant of the original House of Normandy.

I will fix that, I will make an earlier Capetian Navarre 'Evreux' that claims england later on.
