WWII: Russian Empire vs. Communist Germany

Just an idea i had. WWI go somwhat similar to OTL, except that somehow Russian monarchy survives. In the aftermath of GErman defeat, Hitler rises to power nut this time as a leader of a communist party. OTL he was a communist before finding out it was controlled by Moscow. So now, without Russian control of German communist party, Hitler becomes a communist leader and eventually turns Germany into worlds first communist state, just like Karl Marx predicted. Plausible in any way? how would the world react to such situation?

If they go to war, Russia wins AGAIN due to sheer numbers. WWII could look like this.
France, Britan, Russia, Japan, U.S., later possibly.
VS.
Germany and Communist bloc of Eastern Europe.

It isn't ASB, but unlikely. Besides, it likely wouldn't be Hitler who would lead such a revolution. However, it is more than likely that Red Germany would cause domino effect with Italy and Hungary falling prey to Leftist revolutions, with Yugoslavia and Greece being on the brink. So, this world's version of Axis would include Germany, Italy, Hungary, Greece, Yugoslavia. It is quite possibly that Japan would join out of opportunism (there is no anti-Russia coalition in any TL in 1920-1940 which Japan wouldn't like to join).

Nope. Hitler becoming a crazy communist is just bizarre (oh look - there's Stalin the liberal hippy) and I'm not sure why he's in this picture at all - Hitler was not a member of the KPD at any point and the Communists did not come 'under Moscow's control' until Thälmann took the reigns in 1923

Despite this you can construct a plausible timeline which sees a communist Germany emerge from the German Revolution. Perhaps Liebknecht does not call for a putsch in January 1919 or the Noske repression fails. Either way you'd have to increase the abilities of the Spartakists/KPD but a council republic is not all that unlikely

Russia however is a different matter entirely. The Tsardom was probably doomed after 1905 and certainly so with the outbreak of WWI. If that war is still going by 1917 then I see no way to possibly save the Tsar without completely rewriting his character and policies. By this point the monarchy was completely discredited and just not a viable institution. The same can be said for the later Whites - whatever about the military challenge they posed to the Bolsheviks, they simply had no mandate to rule and completely lacked popular support. You'd be stretching it to have a SR/Kadet government survive but a monarchist one... I just can't see it
