I realise that the title sounds like a UTJ, but I shall proceed undeterred!
Reading Wiki, I noted that Prince George the Duke of Kent was proposed as a possible King of Poland, and that the Poles didn't mind him too much. The plans were only shelved because of the unfortunate matter of the invasion, and the subsequent occupation of Poland by rigidly anti-Monarchist forces for the next fifty years, which would spoil the plans for a monarchy somewhat.
(It's worth noting that the Windsors are descended from the House of Wettin, the same house that once ruled Poland...)
So, I put it to you that WWII is delayed in some way without Poland resenting Britain for it. How does the future unfold in this strange world?
