I was just wondering how would WWI be if it was either very quick and no side really lost or if it was skipped all together til say the early 30's or late 20's meaning no nazis, commies, fascists, and so forth and I'm thinking there would be a cold war between all the powers and possible new alliances and tech would probally be around OTL WWII tech better airplanes, navies, rifles, tanks, and so forth what does anyone else think

The longer you put off WWI, or the more you lessen it, the bigger influence Europe has on the world later on. WWI devastated more than just the European landscape; it devastated economies, it sucked troops out of colonies, it tied up merchant fleets and it cost a whole lot of money and manpower. After WWI, colonialism and Eurocentrism as we know it were dead and long gone. Without a major titanic clash on the continent in the nineteen teens, your looking at at least 5-10, if not 20-30 more years of colonial domination over Africa and Asia. What would that have done to the political scene with the rise of fascism and nationalism? or more long term -- with nations that today have been independent and unstable for decades, would they be that way? Would they be colonies? Or would we have more Commonwealths, like the British one?

Well, World War I was the death of the classical Marxist movement and the genesis of Marxism-Leninism. So if WWI was delayed longer, it's conceivable that Social Democrats could have come to power in Germany or France, potentially diffusing some the tensions that spawned the First World War.

That's of course, if they keep to their internationalist and anti-imperialist platforms.

It is likely that if the war is delayed, there will be no war, or at least not one started by the central powers. The German general staff was worried about Russia's rail network being too efficient past 1914 and would make the Schlieffen plan unworkable. Also the Social Democrats in Germany would be in power, as the people became sick of the power structures that only benefited the nobility and economic interests of the Junkers and Industrialists. This would mean actual democracy in which the Reichstag would have actual power instead of serving at the whim of the Kaiser while being packed with his associates. In fact the whole game would have changed by then, as Russia would be too powerful and struggling with Britain over Central Asia. That would wreck the entente cordial and Germany would have likely have moved past the conflicts with nations like France and Britain, though economic troubles would remain. Austria-Hungary would likely be even stronger politically, as the death of Franz Josef would require consessions to minorities, a la Franz Ferdinand's proposals. Having him survive would a major boon to the survival of the empire, which was the reason for his assassination.
The Ottomans would be in Germany's camp and in many ways the Mittel Europa system would be played out as Austria gets intergrated into a free trade zone with Germany and the Ottomans become somewhat of an economic colony that Germany always desired. When the oil becomes big, expect German companies to be in for the win the BP and Royal Dutch/Shell.

In fact, I am hard pressed to say where the war would come from other than France/Russia/Italy/Serbia versus Germany/Britain/Austria/Ottomans. Guess how that would play out
