So I was thinking about people's ideas about WW2 without the USA. I personally think that the USSR and Britain would have won the war, it just would've taken longer. But then I got thinking, what if there was no asian conflict at all. Have Japan be completely at peace with her neighbours. Would Britain's ability to mobile her Asian empire make a significant difference in the outcome of the European conflict. How many Indian, and ANZAC brigades could she mobilise? Would being able to send the ships left to protect India to the Atlantic make a difference in the Atlantic war? In other words, what if WW2 had the same Geo-political environment of WW1?
