WW2 through Spanish Newspaper ABC Headlines

Dear History lovers mates,

I just created a new video I posted in YouTube:

As you know, Spain was a (relatively) neutral country. ABC is nowadays a moderate center right newspaper, but was at that time a right wing monarchist newspaper. News are rather neutral when it comes to the American/British and German fights. Nevertheless, as this newspaper was severely anti communist, the coverage is clearly hostile towards the Soviet Union (You will notice not any Headline about Staline). I chose this Newspaper because they had some nice First Page Headlines

Dates correspond to the date of the newspaper (some news might have delays...there was no Youtube, Twitter or the Alternate History Forum at that time). You might also spot some "fake news". If some important headlines are not displayed, don't blame me, this was their decision. For instance, it's interesting to see that there is no headline for Mussolini death (bear in mind that at that time Spain was under Franco's dictatorship)

Feel free to give me some opinions,

I think a bit more translation of the headlines might make it better (but admittedly much more work for you) as its a bit full of pics of the same few people and what they where doing (or what ABC said about it) would be more interesting?

Yeah its not bad but a little incomprehensive and like jsb said could use a little bit more info on the headlines.

Very interested in the 15 NOV 1939 one "Italian colonization of Libya"... Libya was Italian since 1912. I'm sure its talking about immigration, but could use the context. Some more like that, just lacking context.

I gave you your first like though.

Indeed, this is what is it about.

Yeah, some people appear a lot, the goal was also to see who was appearing during this time in the Headlines (Goering, Montgomery..) and who didn't (Goebbels, Paton..).

I'm working in another vidéo with another newspaper about the "Belle Epoque" where I add much more information. I was afraid in this one to make it too long by adding information.

It is a good piece of work. One error I noticed was that Mussolini is described at head of state at 2:37 when he was in fact Italian head of government, hope pointing that out helps.

Still very interesting glimpse into how conflict was being portrayed, at least in Spain.

Excellent, thanks, if you spot other mistakes, please do let me know, as I might repost it.

One question, do you think that it goes too fast (not enough time by headlines)? and do the red explanations can be easily read out?

Speaking personally, given the amount of pages you need to get through the pacing seems about right and having the explanatory text in red helps.

Well yes I would really like to be able to read whatever the ABC prints but anyway thanks a lot.
