Surrenders to WHO?

The Nazi's? Not very likely. Not with the Corporal running the Army.

The only way that could happen if in 1941 the German Army is able to capture and occupy Moscow. Then followed by a civil war with the death of Stalin. That's the only the way thr Japansese are going to occupy Vladivostock.

I needn't tell you that you would really need to push the German army to the limit, for them to win the war in the East.

Can't happen. The Japanese had already decided thatr a war with russia would be a bad idea. Nomohan and all that. The Soviets are also unlikely to surrender. Agree to a peace? Yes. But an outright surrender, including the loss of Vladivostok to Japan, is on the same level as the sea mammal which shall not be named.

And anyways, something tells me the US takes it back. I mean, by 1945, American combat power was huge. Sure, they can open yet another front, keep japan guessing, and set up B-29 strikes on the home islands.

Why would the US want to seize Siberia? The only part of strategic value would be the Trans-Siberian RR. But with Russia out of the war, the US doesn't need it any more as Lend Lease to Russia would be over.

Also, do you know how large Siberia is? Where would they get the manpower to do this? Even if the men were available, would they be more useful fighting against the Axis? This isn't like garrisoning Iceland with a small force.
