ww1 in 1912

Idea for scenario.
What if 1st Balkan war turned in to ww1.
Austria-Hungary threatens to get involved on side of turkey. Greece Bulgaria Serbia Montenegro ignore Vienna. Austria-Hungary join war on side of Ottoman Empire. Russia issued ultimatum Vienna ignore. Russia declare war on Austria-Hungary. Turkey declared war on Russia. Germany declared war on Russia. Greece Bulgaria Serbia Montenegro declare war on Germany. France Britain Japan Portugal declare war on central powers.
As variant Sweden join central powers. Amsterdam and Copenhagen declare war on Sweden. Central power declare war against Dutch and Danes.
2nd variant Rome and Bucharest declare war on central powers.
America stay neutral sell weapons to everybody.
Norway and Belgium someway get dragged in to war. Germany use Belgium to attack France and Holland. Britain bait Sweden in to invading Norway by assembling landing force close to Norway. Norway ask for British help. Britan make invaisaon of Norway seem like liberation.
3rd variant 2 American ships get sunk by German and Italian navy. America declare war on Germany and Italy. Crazy naval war develops.

The Haber-Bosch Process doesn't go industrial til 1913 so if Germany doesn't win quickly then they grind to a halt and are defeated.

Why do Sweden & Denmark get drawn in? And why would the Dutch declare war on the Swedes?

Suggest you stick with a Balkans scenario and not try to involve nations that had no interest in joining the real Great War when it turned up. Your original plan is OK (up to the point the Swedes jump in) but you didn't mention Romania. As it stands they are surrounded by "Entente" powers, so no real encouragement to join the CP, but would they settle just for Transylvania from Hungary? Remember the Second Balkan War was a falling out among victors / thieves, then Romania took advantage to hit Bulgaria from behind.

So... things got a little out of control there.

Within three weeks of the opening of the war the Ottoman army had effectively collapsed; either retreating behind their last defenses in front of the capital, into fortresses, or disappeared into pow camps or the wilderness. So the timetable is limited.

However, If the Serbians refuse to abandon Albania, the Austrians may force the issue militarily and attempt to invade the Novi Pazar sanjak.
