WW1 fought in mid to late 1930's between American Rebels and British Empire

Hi I need help with my Alt History setting one were WW1 was fought between American rebels and British Empire taking place in British North America, or least starting in the world were the American lost the revolt in 1777.

In this world also is suffering from there verison of the far reaching 1929 stock market crash,

If the Americans had lost the revolt by any number of ways, there wouldn't even be a WWI to speak of, at least in any way resembling the one we know of. It would be a completely different war. If I'm misinterpreting your idea, please explain it again.

Anyway, why are the Americans angered enough to form a revolt later on? And how did they lose the revolution? Crushed? Avoided? Negotiated?

One idea that you might want to consider is the use of the history of Native Americans and blend it with the colonial history of Sub-Saharan Africa. The idea is that a North and South America where the American Revolution collapsed, is certainly not going to follow a policy of "Manifest Destiny", with the United States stretching from "sea to shining sea". For Native American history, check out:

For Sub-Saharan-Africa, check out the history:

If anything, this berings about a situation wherein the French, Germans, and English can be drawn into the fighting, with various tribal alliances fighting for various sides. Also, consider the fact that African-Americans in such a ATL, would most likely be supportive of the British government considering the emancipation of slaves in 1805....

Well this setting is the late 1930 in British North America, one that still has the Navgation Acts inforced after the 1777 defeat of American rebels, in our world the General that was known as Gentleman Johnny was beaten due to his own stupidty in this version of Earth British Empire didn't lost that battle,

Also in this world, there are American nobles in this British North America provinces, there is the American party found in the 1920's and lead currently by an American Duke who is this world's Oswald Mosley. This setting proves that the America we know and love has these thoughts and feelings that the American party states outloud about races and views on America,

The comic Rex Mundi has inspired me to create this world,

The following is a potpourri of different items that can help develop a more even-handed situation for the scenario. With the Native American links, consider the following areas of conflict. They are based on the "code-talkers" of OTL's WWII:

* The Kiowas and Comanches, backed by the French and Spanish, are led by Lone Wolf in Southwest (OTL's Arizona, New Mexico, et al.) forming the 4th Infantry Divsion...

* Choctaw backed by the English battle in the Southeast (OTL's Mississippi, Alabama, and Louisiana) forming the 36th Infantry Battalion under General Pushmataha IV...

* Meskwaki Rangers are utilized by the British in the Wisconsin, Michigan, and Minnesota regions of the Great Lakes.

* British Generals include Sir Archibald Wavell (Supreme Commander of the North American Theater), Sir William Platt, and Sir Alan Cunningham (Based on OTL's assignment of Commonwealth forces to East Africa).

* Governor-General Heber J. Grant of Deseret would certainly be a source of trouble against forces in the region of OTL's Utah and Nevada...

* Sir Marcus Mosiah Garvey II, would certainly be a strong Loyalist citing the racist terms of the rebels, especially in the Southern portions of the North American Commonwealth...

* General Hiram Wesley Evans leads Southern guerilla forces out of the Southeast (e.g. Atlanta, Georgia). In OTL, he was the Imperial Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan....

* Sir William Dudley Pelley, Commander of the Silver Legion, based in Lynn, Massachusetts would be a strong supporter of Sir Oswald Moseley and his rebellion in the New England area....

Well those are good suggestions and ideas, but I need an North America like in the Two Georges full of provinces but not so idealistic, Catholics have a hard time in British Empire one could be denied premotion in ones job due to that fact,

My main villian character is a American Duke who leads the American Party formed in late 1920's due bad money handling from Britain and the Navagtion Acts as well,

How about more German/Austrian?French Immigrants? You'd need to find a way to introduce Nationalism earlier.....maybe Luther?

Without OTL World War I, I don't think the stock market would have crashed exactly the same as it did IOTL.

These kinds of TLs really need to take the butterfly effect into consideration , and Mind you , the butterfly effect of a Failed American Revolution is Massive !

A world were there is a Dust bowl and some form of money buble problem, the British Empire did suffer from these type of bubble bursts now and again, also one of the American Party's allies and future minster of inforation is a Calthloic Preacher who uses the airways like Father Coughlin, the other point is that the main character is a army officer who has bin beached so to speak due to the simple fact that he has pracital fighting and army experince in India.

Consider the following as possible problems for the Revolution from the point of organized labor:

* Consider the case of James P. Cannon (c.1935), leader of the American Communard Movement in Minneapolis and St. Paul. He would certainly be a vocal firebrand in the industrial portions of the Great Lakes...

* James P. Cannon's loyal aides will include Max Shactman and Martin Abern. If anything, they will be completely angered by the anti-Semitism of Sir Oswald Mosely, and would certainly advise against support of Moseley or Pelley....

* Consider the role of General Plutarco Elias Calles, in OTL was launching the Cristero War in Mexico starting in 1924. In the ATL, he would be seen as a "Second Simon Bolivar" for his role in supporting rebellions in the Western Hemisphere. His leadership style could also show the difference between a Napoleonic style revolution and a "popular revolution" in the ATL...

* One famous Mexican guerilla soldier in OTL who could be a dangerous threat to American revolutionaries in the Southwest would be Victoriano Ramirez. In OTL, he earned the nickname "Catorce" (Fourteen) after he killed 14 members of an armed posse ordered to capture him. In the ATL, what if he earned the same nickname for doing the reverse, capturing and executing armed guerillas?

I still need help, some of you may now of comic called Rex Mundi by Dark Horse comics, thats in interesting view on a alt history on Earth.

I was hoping that this idea would become a comic series like that but without the magic, I hoping for some help with the setting of North America and background of the story as well.

One thing that I want to keep is the class levels that was in the British Empire this is one of reasons that Sons of Liberty are this world's IRA in the mid to late 1930's

Later the Knights of Liberty will replace the Sons as the official group for the American party.
