Yeah but it's not enough. If the allies have to fight their way into Spain (not hard, tbh, considering the state of the country) they'd then have to face a defended Pyrenees from the french side, with no spanish support. At the end of a long logistics chain, in unfriendly territory. You need a friendly Spain.

I like the Turkey option. Once it's subdued, the allies have a straight shot up through the Balkans to Germany. And, to get more bang for their buck, they can also use it as a jumping off point to invade the USSR and prevent the Cold War.
Just invade Spain, no Franco already joining the axis. I’m sure he would join the axis when Spain is invaded, but the insane part of the idea is that it’s just done.
Most of the damage will be done before the war by sucking up limited development and procurement funds. However useful it ends up being I'd doubt it'd be as useful as the stuff you could have had instead.
As the man said, why have one when you can have two for twice the price? The USA is wealthy enough for it to shrug off a lot of mistakes; fighting the war with two finicky, underpowered, resource-intensive bombers would make a noticeable dent.Why not both the B-15 and the B-19?
