Wunderwaffen, Vol. 1-2

I found English translations of Volumes 1 and 2 of Wunderwaffen, a French alternate history comic. It's your standard Luft '46 premise, but well illustrated and with generally high production value, in my opinion.

And the cover art looks like this.
Interesting, nice artwork and the plots easier to follow than Luftwaffe 1946. I always had hard time following plot on that one.
This one also seems a little less silly.

1) I wonder if the little Lippischs could make it up to the same altitude as a B36 Peacemaker. If not then the the USAAF ought to look at replacing the Stratofortresses and cannon armed Liberators toute de suite.

2) I don't know if a single jet plus one piston enegine is reallly practicial, but the Blohm and Voss ground attack aircraft certainly look neat.

The RLM would pretty much agree with you. They shot down the B&V P.194 design in favor of the Me 262 for a tactical bomber replacement for the Ju 87.

Wow. These looks cool. I will buy them at the end of the month when i get paid, and tell you my feelings about them.

This is good stuff... ASB obviously but why let that get in the way of a good story? The bigger problem is that while the machines are drawn really nicely the artist can't seem to make his humans look very good.

These were great fun to read. It's almost a 1946 Nazi version of Biggles (but with less of the British 'Tally Ho!' camaraderie and more of the more realistic 'Scheiße' and other expletives). However, as LeoXiao said, definitely ASB territory, but immersive story line and I enjoyed spending an hour or so yesterday afternoon reading them.

I doubt I'll find any copies of this here in Taiwan, so if you find some more full versions to post (English or French is fine), then I look forward to reading them ;)

Hey, C3 is back, and he brought comics. Those were fun; please post if you find the rest.
That and the protagonist is ridiculously lucky when it comes to winning in head-on passes.
Well, even in the comics itself he is supposed to be nigh-unkillable for whatever reason...

Because of this thread, i bought the first four volumes in French. (I wanted to start looking into francobelgian comics besides Tintin,XIII and Asterix for a while anyway, and that was as good as an occasion as any).

I must say i like it all in all, even if i could do without the occult stuff creeping up in 4. I kind of wouldn't be surprised if BJ Blaskowitz showed up.

Good news, I found English translations of Volumes 3 and 4 on the Pirate Bay. Since we are not allowed to post links to pirated content, you will have to go the site on your own to look it up, but rest assured it is there.
