A few Wrestling / MMA What-Ifs that comes to mind includes:
- Taz being 6ft instead of 5.9ft (or allegedly being even shorter)
- Virgil possessing enough in-ring skill, charisma and talent on the microphone to be a mid-carder / upper mid-carder in the aftermath of his feud with Ted DiBiase (instead of being a jobber).
- Chris Masters Master Lock finisher being a full nelson variation of the camel clutch instead of a full nelson
- Shane McMahon acquiring and merging both Pride Fighting Championships as well as Fighting Network Rings / RINGS to create a successful MMA competitor to UFC (in addition to buying Newcastle United FC).
WWF successfully introducing / utilizing 3rd tier or lightweight Championships below the Intercontinental Title to further bolster the undercard via:
- WWF European Championship - Appears from 1986 instead of 1997 in place of the WWF Canadian Championship as an equivalent of the NWA/WCW World Television Championship.
- WWF Light Heavyweight Championship – Instead of Universal Wrestling Association (UWA) gaining exclusive rights to promote the WWF Light Heavyweight Championship, the WWF gained the right to develop a parallel championship of the same name to succeed the WWF Junior Heavyweight Championship from the mid-1980s prior to both parallel Light Heavyweight Championships being unified in the mid-1990s.
