That reminds me. IIRC, the Arab equivalent of a vampire is diurnal.

Because the Day and under harsh sunlight is their most unpleasant of daily reality, and Night often becoming a rather relaxing ones due to drop in more manageable temperature.

Christianity is the cultural oddball by being Desert-origin but found more adherents in Winter climate.

i mean common with most catholic prostestan and orthodox curches, of course fire is a symbol of fire, but the burning bush , the baptisim of fire etc

is like some what like the lion both god , jesus and the devil where called lions
