Would Hitler going to art school change anything?

Adolf Hitler going to art school would mean his entire political career as head of the Nazi Party is butterflied away. On the other hand, assuming if World War I ends the same way as OTL then Adolf Hitler as an artist will not really change anything whatsoever as another person like Gregor Strasser (one of the creators of Strasserism a socialist, anti-capitalist revolutionary form of Nazism) or Alfred Rosenberg (the author of The Myth of the 20th Century) for instance could have become the leader of the Nazi Party and by extension Nazi Germany we might even see a World War II that starts and ends the same way like in our world. We'd likely remember Adolf Hitler as that Austrian artist with a weird mustache rather than the misguided murderer and dictator most of us know (not counting the neo-Nazi and anti-Semitic types out there in Europe, North America, Australia and New Zealand).
Don't think the Strasser brothers or Rosenberg could've precipitated the calamity of WWII. The Strassers could've possibly created a Mussolini-esque "third position" polity, which would've probably been a rather unpleasant place and made some trouble for its nearest neighbors (Poland and the Czechs), but ultimately not been a grave threat to the world and resulted in millions upon millions of lives lost. Rosenberg would've been dismissed as a crank, read by a few and disregarded by most, just like numerous volkisch "race theorists" who preceded him...
One thing about the most prominent Nazis was that none of them could agree on anything, and most of them intensely disliked each other... they needed someone to bind them all in a unity of purpose, and absent AH, I'm at a loss when it comes to someone who could fill that role...

We would still regard whoever ran Germany inn the 1930s as a massive shithead and warmonger, but they may take a different tack. I’m picturing a nationalistic Germany who’s every bit as pissed off but doesn’t give a left-handed shit whether someone’s a Jew or Gypsy as long as they’ll do their country’s bidding.
In that case.. If you have the right person..

Germany could win.. So public opinion might be different

I myself have no issue with a germany of Germans that is not prejudiced and genocidal. That Germany wouldn't want the world to be Germany..

So one coukd get gross deutchland with out the kill kill kill hate hate hate.

Note naked agression is not cool
I do not support nor advocate any sort of nazi policies

I would hope for a bund of germany, austria and lands of 1914.. No more., with equality under law of all peoples of the bund

Hitler, the most evil man in history, was a mass murdering genocidal psychopath. If he had gone to art school, he will still be a psychopath. Whatever path this alternate Hitler takes, he will still have his psychopathy.

Perhaps in this alternate world, Hitler becomes a propaganda artist and gets into politics that way. He ascends the ranks and becomes the leader of Germany. So here, nothing much really changes.

Or... just maybe, alt-Hitler is remembered as the most notorious serial killer in Central Europe. As infamous as Jack the Ripper, he's known for arranging his murder scenes like a painting. Hitler the Canvas Killer targeted mostly Jewish and Gypsy households, until he was eventually caught and shot dead in a bunker by Detective Inspector Winston Churchill.

Nah- he's tracked down & brought to justice by nobody other than Sherlock Holmes himself.

Nah, Hitler wasn't a psychopath, he just was distressingly good at ignoring decency and mainstream morality when it conflicted with his conspiracy theories and twisted outlook on the world. Far too many people in history have figured out how to cognitive dissonance themselves into being terrible despite having a perfectly normal and human brain

Beria, however, if anyone was born evil he'd fit the bill. Even if the commies never came over I imagine he'd be a notorious serial killer
