Would Greek ever replace Aramic in the Levant

Supposing the Arab/Muslims never occurs and the Byzantines were able to hold the Levant for several more centuries, would the Levant under go a language shift from Aramaic to Greek? What about Egypt?

It would become a major language and likely replace Aramaic as the Lingua France, but by the timer period present Aramic would've had enough of a hold to remain a large minority language.

Mostl likely you'd get a situation where most of the cities were Greek speaking while the countryside was a mixture of the two, with one or the other being dominant depending on the location.

Aren't the Christian communities in the Levant traditionally (at least liturgically) Aramaic speaking?

It's primarily the isolated groups and the Mandaeans that speak them, most Chrisitans in the Levant speak the same languages as the Muslim populations (Arabic, Kurdish, English and French).
