Would Franco Stay In Power Under These Conditions?

hey, all. i need to figure out a little detail for my ASB ATL based on a separate decision i recently made. bear with me here since this requires some handwaving and not necessarily explaining some of the other aspects of the TL since i only want to focus on the question at hand in this thread.

so, my question requires that neither Nazi Germany nor the Soviet Union come to be ITTL, removing the incentive of leaving Franco alone as the lesser of two evils (iirc, it's been mentioned that the main reason Franco stayed in power for so long was in part because the West simply didn't bother doing anything about him since he was anti-communist)

now, the full question: Does Francoist Spain still persist from 1936 to 1975 ITTL without the "distraction" of the Cold War, or would an external power invade/filibuster the state into an anti-fascist puppet (with all that entails)?

in particular, i'd like to figure out if it would last to 1950 at the latest

Assuming the Spanish Civil War happens and Franco is in control of Spain in 1939, no reason why it should not go on close to what happened. Certainly nobody is going to invade Spain to get rid of Franco. With no Cold War, you won't get some of the (eventual) US aid that helped Spain rebuild but other than that...

Without Nazi Germany and the USSR,there will be no foreign support of the Spanish Civil War.

What about Fascist Italy plus non-communist 'Republican' brigades from countries like the US, the UK & France. Support would be less but not non-existent. Maybe the SCW would drag out longer.

Edit: Without the USSR would there even be a SCW because the Nationalists could win the Feb 1936 elections. Franco wouldn't be in charge though.

like i said, just insert whatever you need to justify it in your mind. the question isn't the "how?", it's the "what then?"
