Like the title says, if Theodore Roosevelt won in 1912 (and 1916 if you want) would FDR ever become president later on or is that butterflied away?

It is still possible. Let's say that TR wins the 1912 Republican nomination and defeats Wilson. He is re-elected in 1916. FDR continues his political career in New York State. TR may well appoint his fifth cousin Assistant Secretary of the Navy or a similar post, as Theodore was very supportive of Franklin's career even though he was a Democrat. If TR dies in 1919 due to the stress of the Presidency, his VP will likely lose in 1920. The Democrats may still choose FDR to be their VP in 1920, which would make him well positioned to run for President in 1928.
