Would American colonists fight the British for slavery?

Depends who is putting this out. Perhaps some reform minded people who weren't tied into the triangle trade somehow? They would want to simultaneously make a lot of proclamations pointing out how chattel slavery of. Africans was different than the indentured servitude used by the Jews (which, I should add, required you to free the men every seven years. And if they didn't want to be freed, to viciously beat them and send them back to work.), as well as reforming the apprentice system, indentured servitude, etc. As well as convincing the colonists this means more land for white farmers. Probably best to have maybe thirty representatives from the colonies in London to add weight to it (even if many don't vote for it) and maybe package it up in a series of reforms, though I am unsure if they do things like that in Parliment. At least back then,
