Why does the Country of Selurong hates Madyaas.

Man2

They stole the Southern Half of the Island

Man1

Isn’t the Southern half of Selurong Visayan speaking and their culture is even Visayan.

Man2

It is a pride thing for the two countries.

Selurong
On the late 1400s the Sultan of Brunei was defeated by a chieftain in Selurong and the Country of Selurong was formed, the boundaries of the country is on the Pasig Channel or River.
The country has its own group of languages which is sometimes called as a single language.

The country lost the south of the Island to the Madyaas Confederation in the 1500s due to the Madyaas uniting itself and the wars for the South of the Island never stopped and the Country of Selurong always sided with the enemies of Madyaas but Selurong would always fail to regain the Southern half of the Island and the other Islands associated with it.

The Country of Selurong has close ties with the other remaining Hindu countries that were parts of Majapahit.

If the Spanish don't colonize the Philippines, my guess is that some other European power (or maybe Japan) would've taken it later on.
