World without Protestant reformation

Your link doesn't really say much.

However an internal reformation would certainly proceed differently than OTL external reformation.

A lot of historians say that Henry VIII not wanting a son so badly would have likely stabilized the England-Ireland union and made it go like one of the Hapsburg unions. In short, the British Isles would not be a mere geographical term (which is to say the British don't actually claim all territory in the British Isles), but a political one too (because it would either be like modern UK plus Ireland United or perhaps some personal union mess that at least is stable). No external reformation means all that mess is gone because Henry VIII is butterflied (and even if he wasn't, his heirs would likely try to sweep his mess under the rug).

The rest of the world would be quite different. No 30 Years War... wow.

I think Catholic Iran or Istanbul in that post is nicer than OTL counterparts. Just for the sake of privacy. I mean, from what I read in the 1970s and earlier, as long as you didn't question the government, Iran was a nice place and they didn't care what you did in your private life, but nowadays it's known for something many Westerners would disapprove of.
