World with a Great Power Brazil?

This is not an AHC, which is already covered here.

What would the world look like if Brazil is as strong as, say, the United States?

Notice that I'm not talking about Great Power Status in football, a field in which Brazil is THE hyper-power of the world, but in terms of social-economic factors, military and global influences.

This may not create two superpowers, but may instead reduce both Brazil and the United States to mere Great Powers because the western hemisphere is too small for two Superpowers.

What is likely is that Brazil dominates South and Central America while competing for influence with the US in the Carribean and West Africa. The two nations will probably never go to war, but will probably back different governments and regimes in Africa and the Carribean.

Brazil will probably have a large economic relationship with the US and trade fairly easily with it.

I'd guess something analogous to a benign China-US relationship

would a great power Brazil have a bigger border than the regular brazil

I doubt so. The other Latin American countries are Spanish-speaking. In OTL, Brazil won several battles against them but could never made them a part of Brazil.

Maybe a few oversea colonies like Hawaii.

if Brazil takes Hawaii could a war start over that because the american plantations there would be in danger

I'm not sure how realistically Brazil could get Hawaii without a port on the pacific like the USA. . .

They could annex parts of Uruguay or some neighboring countries, but not outright annexation. To costly.

Getúlio Vargasdies in childhood and the revolution is led by someone a bit more level-headed and forward looking who starts industrialising earlier?
