World War II starts in 1938: Effects on the Spanish Civil War?

Say, that, World War II starts in 1938 over the Sudetenland crisis, pitting the UK, France and Czechoslovakia against Nazi Germany. As the Spanish Civil War is not over yet, would the UK and France consider an intervention against the Nazi-backed Nationalists something worth doing?

No, the British and French would probably not.

However if Czechoslovakia does fight, there is a chance that the German generals will make a coup against Hitler.

Also if Czechoslovakia does fight does fight they may inflict a defeat upon the Germans. The Czechoslovakian military was one of the most modern, they had forts ALL around the country, and the army was the army in the world with the highest % of automatic weapons.

So there are many possibilities if war breaks out in 1938.

There is even a chance that Stalin sends in the red air force to help Czechoslovakia.
