World War I: Greco-Turkish Front

What if the Greco-Turkish War of 1919 occurred earlier, notably during World War I? Would World War I end with Greece occupying Smyrna and other parts of western Turkey? I doubt the Ottomans would be able to respond effectively facing Britain, France, Russia, and Greece all at once. With no later Greco-Turkish War, would this effect Kemal and the Turkish National Movement?

Would this Occur before or during Gallipolee? If so it might have actually been slightly plausible to succed on that front or make it much less of a massacre with Greek ships theoretically able to resupply the troops or provide a safer route for ships. They can also be very useful to Serbia, providing a way for allys to supply them over sea and relieving some of the pressure and providing reinforcements. Ofcourse the most obvious is putting even more pressure on the Ottomans, however it is plausible that this might cause a Greek-Armenian genocide.

However I have almost no knowledge of this theater of the war so what I described could easily be ASB.

There's not really any reason for the Allies to occupy mainland Anatolia during the war. It's Germany that's the problem, and if anything's valuable in the Middle East it's Istanbul. Seizing Anatolia (or failing to) wouldn't do anything particularly worthwhile besides creating a new distraction.
