Inspired by the 'longer WWI' thread. The situation is this:

Starting in 1914 as per OTL, Europe is subjected to six brutal years of war, costing millions of lives on both sides. Germany adopts a more defensive policy in the west after it's initial territorial gains there in the first year and a half. Entente exhausts themselves attacking German trenches. Russia is defeated by Germany in 1917, forced to sign the humiliating treaty of Brest-Litovsk. The United States does not enter the war and remains neutral.

Fighting continues in the west until 1920, when the exhausted powers of both sides agree to come to the table and sign peace. What terms do you believe the two sides will likely agree to? And how does the world develop from there?

Some facts to remember:

The Bolshevik Revolution still happens and Russia is under Communist rule, though still locked in a Civil War in 1920.

Tensions amongst the lower class in Europe are ever growing, and fears of a "global revolution" have gripped much of the political leadership of both sides.

The armies of both sides are on the verge of a serious mutiny, and the offensive ability of both the Central Powers and the Entente have been crippled by six years of war.

France is on the verge of collapse, with British and Commonwealth forces being all that are propping them up at this point.

Germany, despite a degree of relief from it's new eastern satelites is on the verge of starvation.

If you have any questions feel free to ask and I'll ellaborate as best I can.
