Well, here's an extremely rough TL I'm working on. I'll have to figure out an initial POD. Note:There are two British Governments-The Pro-Nazi London Government and The Churchill-led government-in-exile. Global events 1946 1]January 2nd-German troops invade Ireland and quickly secure the country as the western-most province of the Third Reich. The new pro-nazi government of Britain approves the German intiative, pointing out that it will be a good opportunity to rid Ireland of any pro-UN sentiment.2] January 10th,First meeting of the United nations. The initial members are the United states,Canada,Mexico,Austrailia,Brazil and the European governments-in-exile. The member states agree that a future attack on one is an attack on them[similar to Nato in OTL]. They also agree to pool their armies and resources into a common defence organisation-the UNDF[United nations defence force]. The UNDF is meant to be democratically run-in reality the U.S dictates the deployment of this multinational taskforce. The UNDF's objective is to aid fellow democracies overtly or convertly depending on circumstances.3] January 22nd,Iranian diplomat Qazi muhammad urges his people to resist the Soviet occupation by any means necessary. Small arms and Panzerfausts are smuggled across the border from Pro-Nazi Iraq by Iranian rebels.4] January 29th Central intelligence group[CIA] is established in the U.S.5]January 30th,IRA launches a Guerrilla warfare campaign against the Nazi occupation forces. They are aided by Ex-British soldiers and other anti-nazi elements among the native population. U.S submarines brave the mine-infested waters of the Atlantic to deliver meagre amounts of supplies to the Irish resistance.6]February 15th,Canadian authorities arrest 22 suspected communist agents.7]February 25th,Philadelphia,strikers of General electric clash with police in a communist style workers rebellion.8]February 27th,German U-boat 4901 torpedoes a U.S trawler in the North sea, killing all ten crew members. The incident provokes an anti-Nazi outcry in the U.S and President Truman demands an explanation from Nazi officials. The German government claims that it was a spy-ship,monitoring Kriegsmarine activity on behalf of the U.S government. Truman dismisses this as 'nonsense' and demands a German apology. Berlin declines and relations between the Third Reich and the U.S rapidly cool as a result.8]March 10th,the last British officials leave Iran. The London government claims that it is yet another instance of Britain giving up its Imperial past and moving toward the future-further integration into the Reich. Unfortunately, for the Iranians their future will involve the hammer and sickle as Soviet troops move into the British Zones and take total control of Iran.9]March 20th,British officials withdraw from India as the country tumbles into Civil war.10]August 10th,Indian civil war is in full swing. 3000 are killed or wounded in fighting between Hindus and Muslims in Calcutta.11]September 8th,King Simeon of Axis-aligned Bulgaria dies. Bulgarian communists seize the capital Sofia and declare an independant communist state.12]September 10th,Hitler orders German troops into Bulgaria to restore the country to its former pro-nazi position. Workers with farm tools and WW1 rifles are no match for Tiger tanks and German machine-gunners. The Communists are crushed in less than two days with almost 8000 killed or wounded.13]September 15th,Bulgaria ceases to be an independant state and is officially absorbed into the Greater Reich.14]December 10th,Chinese civil war ends after a brutal two-year struggle. Equipped with masses of Soviet Equipment, the Communist Chinese utterly rout the Nationalists under the leadership of Chiang Kai-shek. Mao Zedong becomes leader of the peoples republic of China. Nationalists retreat to the Island of Taiwan.15]December 28th, Argentina increases trade relations with Hitler's Reich as it tries to build up its meagre navy. The Germans offer some older U-boats and surface vessels, but state that much more could be achieved if Argentina were to become a fully-fledged Axis member. Argentina has its eye on the Falklands but does not want to upset the UNDF by joining the Axis so they tell the Germans that their proposal will be taken under consideration[though this means a slower naval build-up for Argentinia].
