A continuation of my last update. Again, mostly exploring various different ideas I've had over time. I decided I'd include some post-Russian Empire regions, as this is again more a visualization experiment.
Standard blue is integrated territory. Dark blue are standard territories. Light blue are those economically tied/integrated (ATL Associated States, basically). Congo is based on the various thread ideas where the US was discussed as a neutral instead of Belgium, but with Katanga and the region north of the Uele lost to more aggressive British/French colonization. Yucatan would have been a creation of an alt-Mexican-American War. Cuba includes Puerto Rico (I'm actually considering the US acquiring a base in Santo Domingo, stemming from the OTL proposals for statehood that would have failed). Colombia-Venezuela is just a wild thought and I probably will go back and split one or the other off.
Other ones that I will be including at some point: a Greater Morocco (US Ifni & Tangiers are tied to that, with Morocco getting the Spanish Sahara). A Far Eastern Republic, essentially propped up by the US after a different Russian Revolution. a Kamchatka Republic including up to Magadan, which would be the remnants of a Japanese puppet recovered after some American-Japanese war. I'm debating whether the remainder of the Philippines would be included in this group. And I might do an Armenia, even though that is still unlikely.
Messed with Equatorial Guinea some; it probably fits better. Same with Liberia, though not nearly to the same extent. Thought process for Liberia is that they actually remain more of an official government project, or at least a state-sponsored project, as there are already overseas territories. Come the alt-Civil War, I'm considering that the Southern colonies would be taken over, while the Pennsylvania and Maryland colonies would remain as such, possibly leading to a long term split between the two different Liberias. But those are just thoughts right now.
Any questions or comments would be welcome.
