Was just experimenting with Terrain layers and I ended up with this. Not too shabby in my opinion, I may keep using this style!

The excellent @Bob Hope created a set of QBAM terrain maps and posted them, I don’t have the link to the thread at the moment but it shouldn’t be too hard to find. They’re great!

Can't wait for the full map! Especially with those rivers. Those will make for some not-so-shabby borders!

Added a lot of Wilayats to the Greater Wilayats of the Middle East, as well as fixing the Greater Wilayats in the Sub-Saharan region

Playing around with colours and an independent Kiev (maybe they never were united with Tver) I may make it a subsidiary kingdom within Russia.

You betcha. I took some hints from @RoyalPsycho 's maps and went for a jog. I'll upload some more history as I progress. I tend to use Rome's colour for Byzantium as I find the distinction trivial. But now imma turn the concept on its head and use the Tyrian purple for Old Rome and New Rome.
