So, I hear the dude has an American mom but was born in England. Imagine the possibilities for Alt Hist is we got him to rise to the POTUS! In order to get him president of the USA we might have to do a few things:

  1. Change the attitudes regarding women; we need them to be able to pass on their citizenship when they have children, like men could do. I guess that means giving them other rights, like the right to vote, but since that seems a bit implausible since women get the right to vote around 1920 and Churchill was like, almost 50 years old at that time.
However the demand for women suffrage was around for longer than that so it's not outright ASB.
  2. We'll need his family to at least move to America when he's young enough for it to make him think he never wants to leave. I mean it doesn't really help is they move to New York when he's 13 and he goes back to Britain instead of sticking around. So his father (Randolph) was involved in office until 1887, which means they're not likely to move, but this can be butterflied away (I'm not too sure how my knowledge of British politics can be written on my fingernail) or Randolph can die even younger than 45 y.o., making the family move back to New york.
  3. I think that yes the family moving to Canada (Half USA half UK) seems kinda likely for the joint American/British parentage but let's take that off the table right now, because that's a tale for Winston Churchill becoming the PM of Canada.
  4. While I do think he might be good in the Republican Party as a conservative-type in OTL, in OTL a Democrat was in the office for WW2, FDR. While I am unsure of how to get Winston elected during the great depression if he is viewed as a conservative, I think we can allow some leeway and allow him to be a democrat because in TTL his childhood was drastically different.
Perhaps you can think of more discussion points after you reply to these ones?
