William IV of Britain has sons

How does this all look so far?

If Fred becomes King in 1802, he'd need to try and come to terms with his wife would he not?

I suppose in the two years he's King George IV would likely remain unmarried?

Well George IV would have to move quickly to marry and father more kids. I have read he abhored his first wife and cavorted with his various mistresses. Also you would need for Frederick Duke of York to die before 1802. Othetwise he becomes King.

With Charlotte not being born William and his younger brothers might have more of an incentive to marry sooner. Who might he connect with? Most likely it would not be OTL Adelaide.

With George III dying sooner, the various Princesses might be allowed to get married. You might try to plan that as well.

Hmm aye, well the plan is for Frederick to become King as a sort of soldier King if you will, but for him and his wife to suffer the fate of not having any children, thus increasing the pressure for the other royal princes to marry. Unless you think Frederick would simply divorce his wife and marry again?

And re the royal princesses aye they'll definitely be marrying this time around. I was thinking Princess Amelia could marry a restored Louis XVII

Alterantively, what if George III pressures William into marrying during the 1790s, sighting the lack of an heir for his older brothers and the need for the dynasty to have another generation to be secure.

From what I have read Frederick and his wife seperated on good terms. I am not sure he would divorce her unless really pressed by the Government.

I am not sure if the King, whoever it is at the time, would permit his Sister to marry a Catholic. Too political for the times.

George III, couldn't control his own bladder let alone sons. Forcing William to marry early will have the same effects as the eldest two, loveless marriages.

Okay very true, so I suppose then William will rush to find a bride when it either becomes clear Fred won't have a son or child or when Fred becomes king himself?
